Fringe Tips and Ideas

Fringe can add the finishing touch to your beaded objects and can also be added to items such as; clothing, lamps,
purses..etc.
Using ribbon or bias tape as a base may be the answer to attaching fringe to objects of which do not already
include a bead ‘base.
When using bias tape you can hide your stitches/thread in the fold of the bias tape. The bias tape can then be sewn
or glued to objects.
When a beaded item has an odd number of beads from which fringe will be attached;
A ‘Center’ can be created/found easily using the ‘Typical’ fringe technique.
If an even number of beads are in the ‘base’ there are ways to create a ‘center.
1. Instead of using the typical fringe method (1 fringe to each base bead) center each fringe between 2 beads.
